been created and is available through SDC. To get a copy, place a call through the GetronicsWang Call Center

Wang has made extensive modifications and enhancements to the VS operating
System in order to achieve Year 2000 (Y2K) compliance. These enhancements are embodied in VS Operating System
Release 7.53.00. |

SCU

High end VS processors use an external PC based system operator and diagnostic
console called the Support Control Unit (SCU). The SCU includes an internal option card that allows it to interface
to the SCU interface board that is on the VS system bus. |

Wang Global has sold Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) manufactured by
several vendors and labeled as Wang product for use on Wang VS systems and/or other computer uses. Wang has also
sold UPS systems from other suppliers using the suppliers brand names. Various Wang subsidiaries have also sold
locally procured UPS systems using the Wang label. |
