The 6700 series WangŪ VS Server product family provides a high performance in-system upgrade path for installed WangŪ VS 5000 and WangŪ VS 6000 systems.  The 6700 series servers are available as upgrades for installed entry-level WangŪ VS systems and as complete system packages.

The WangŪ VS 6700 Series Server systems are built around a common hardware core used for WangŪ VS 6000 and WangŪ VS 6230 series servers.

Multiple Power Levels
There are two standard WangŪ VS 6700 Server offerings.  Both are based upon a Central Processor element designed and used in the WangŪ VS 18000, our most powerful WangŪ VS system.

• The WangŪ VS Server/6760 provides approximately 1.50 times the processing power of the WangŪ VS 6230/Turbo, the previous highest performance model of the VS 6000 family.

• The WangŪ VS Server/6780 provides approximately 2.25 times the processing power of the WangŪ VS 6320/Turbo.

• Both models are factory equipped with 128Mb of user accessible main memory, which is the maximum memory capacity of the system.
