          1.0 Release Abstract

              The @MCIPL@ microcode allows the user to test any option card in the
              system, set time and date, view the disk drives available in the system,
              and IPL (start the operating system) from any of the drives displayed.

          5.0 Problems Corrected Since Release 01.10.15

              The year 2000 is now correctly supported.  The date entry remains as two
              digits, however the main screen now displays the correct four digit year
              and will correctly update on the rollover to the year 2000.

          6 0 Known Anomalies

              @SYSVER@ must be run from the disk used to bootstrap the system.

              With no cartridge (or an unformatted cartridge) in the 2288V1, 2288V2 or
              2288V3 disk drive, it will not be listed on the IPL drive selection screen
              when attached to the RCU, it will be displayed as an Auto ID device when
              attached to an optional SCSI IOC.

          8.0 Installation

              To install and prepare the new IPL code on a Bootstrap device,
              follow these steps:

              1. Bootstrap from the existing Bootstrap device or from the floppy drive.
              2. IPL from one of the devices listed on the IPL screen.
              3. Copy file @MCIPL@ to the Bootstrap device to be installed.
              4. Re-Bootstrap the system to invoke the new IPL module.
