          1.0   Release Abstract


                The 50V68E Single Port Caching SCSI IOC Microcode provides the loadable
                code support for the 50V68E IOC.  The 50V68E is an optional IOC for use
                with the VS 5000/6000 series of Wang minicomputers.

                The IOC supports a maximum of seven SCSI devices.


          2.0   Pre-Requisites and Dependencies

                For 9 Gigabyte 2279V7 support, VS Operating System version 7.53.XX or
                greater is required.


          3.0   Restrictions and Special Considerations

                SCSI devices should not be powered off and on during and after IPL.

                For 9GB support, software must be 9 GB enabled by Wang.

                No IPL support for 9 GB 2279V7.
